## When to Use This

Use this method when you want to pre-configure the agent to listen to specific public channels before inviting the bot in Slack.

## Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Open the settings page for your newly created agent.
2. Scroll down to the **agents’s** **Connection** section.
3. Click the **Channel** (or **Add channel**) button.
4. A list of public channels from your connected Slack workspace will appear.
5. Search for or select the desired channel (e.g., `#general`) from the dropdown list.
6. Click **Add channel**.
7. The channel will appear in the list with a status (e.g., "Not joined") until the bot is invited.
