# Editing and Managing Draft Articles

## Step-by-Step Instructions


1. **Open a Draft:** From the article list in Knowledge, click on a draft article to open it in the editor.
2. **Edit Content:** Add or modify the text and other content within the editor as needed.
3. **Publish the Article:** Once your edits are complete, click the "Publish" button in the top-right corner to make the article live.
4. **Access More Options:** Click the three-dot menu in the top-right corner to reveal a dropdown of additional actions.
5. **Preview Your Draft (General Preview):** Select "Preview draft" from the menu to see how your changes will appear before publishing.

### Previewing an Article on a Specific Help Center

If you have multiple help centers configured, you can preview how an article will render on a specific help center before it goes live.


1. Navigate to the **Knowledge** section in the sidebar.
2. Click on the article you wish to preview to open it.
3. Click the **three-dot menu** (options menu) in the article interface.
4. Select **Preview draft article** (for drafts) or **View live article** (for published content).
5. When prompted, select the help center you want to preview.
6. Click **Preview**.
7. The article will open in a new tab, showing how it appears on the selected help center.
