# How to Add a Zendesk Data Source

## Introduction
This article explains how to connect your agent to Zendesk as a data source. Integrating with Zendesk allows your agent to access and utilize information from your help center articles and other content.

## Steps
1. After creating an agent, you will see a **Data Sources** section on the agent configuration page.
2. Click the **+ Add data source** button to open a list of available integrations.
3. From the dropdown menu, select **Zendesk**.
4. A new section will appear asking you to enter your Zendesk subdomain. Type your company's unique Zendesk subdomain into the provided field (e.g., if your URL is 'mycompany.zendesk.com', your subdomain is 'mycompany').
5. Click the **Connect** button to finalize the integration and allow the agent to access data from Zendesk.

## Summary
This guide detailed the process of adding Zendesk as a data source for an agent. By clicking 'Add data source', selecting 'Zendesk' from the list, providing the correct subdomain, and connecting the account, you can empower your agent with the knowledge stored in your Zendesk instance.
