## Introduction

This guide explains how to customize your personal user profile, including your display name and photo, and set your interface preferences for language and display.

## Steps

1. Click your **Avatar** in the top right-hand corner of the screen and select **Settings**.
2. Click on **Profile**. On this page, you can manage how you appear to others in the workspace. You can upload a profile photo and change your display name.
3. Click **Save** to apply any changes made to your profile.
4. Click on **Preferences** to manage settings that affect your personal experience.
5. In the **Display** section, use the dropdown menu to choose your preferred interface language.
6. Toggle the **Show line numbers** switch to either show or hide line numbers within code blocks in documents.
7. In the **Behaviour** section, toggle the **Remember previous location** switch to control whether the application reopens to the last document you were viewing.

## Summary

By following these steps, you can easily update your personal profile information and configure your display and behavior preferences to suit your workflow. These settings help tailor the user interface to your specific needs.
