Why Brainfish for enterprise

The enterprise question

Most agent platforms compete on conversational quality. Enterprise support leaders have a different question first: whose knowledge answers our customers, and who is accountable when it gets something wrong?

Brainfish answers that question at the substrate. We sit below the agent layer. Our job is to make sure your agents — ours, yours, or a partner's — always pull from knowledge your team has integrated, reviewed, segmented, and signed off.

How Brainfish is built for enterprise

Knowledge governance

  • Managed CMS with review workflow. Every article exists as a draft, review, then publish. No auto-publishing from AI.
  • Role-based access control (RBAC). Admin and viewer roles, with permissions enforced everywhere an article is touched.
  • Audit log. Every integration, suggestion, approval, publish, segment change, and agent edit is recorded.
  • Content isolation. Internal collections stay internal; private articles never surface to public agents.

Integration breadth

Your enterprise knowledge already lives somewhere. Brainfish meets it there.

  • First-party sources plus OpenAPI ingest and site crawl.
  • Continuous sync keeps content fresh without rebuilding pipelines.
  • Explicit matching lets you force a source to own specific query intents.

Data residency and compliance

  • Regions: US and EU hosting.
  • Certifications: SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001:2022.
  • Privacy: GDPR-aligned data handling and subject-rights support.

See the Security & Compliance collection for evidence and data handling specifics.

Segmentation and multi-tenancy

Enterprises rarely answer one customer the same way they answer another. Brainfish lets you segment cleanly:

  • Region segmentation — EU customers get EU answers.
  • Audience and URL rules — different product lines see different answers.
  • Team-specific knowledge instances — internal teams get their own tuned substrate.
  • Multiple help centers — one workspace, many branded properties.

Agent-layer optionality

You are not locked into our agent.

  • Run the Brainfish agent on web, help center, Slack, Microsoft Teams, or Salesforce.
  • Chrome is also supported via the Chrome Marketplace (installed by end users, not through the Brainfish Platform directly).
  • Or use Brainfish as the retrieval and knowledge substrate for the agent you already picked.
  • Either way, every answer is grounded, cited, and traceable to a specific article and source.

Scale and reliability

  • Simulation. Run a batch of real customer questions through an agent before a release.
  • Answer reviews. Sample and grade real answers with your team.
  • Observability. Sessions, threads, themes, answer rate, and health checks surface where knowledge is failing.
  • Response length modes. Tune verbosity for channel and audience.
