Attaching Images to Questions
Brainfish now supports image uploads across the Widget, Assist, and Help Center — so users can show what they're seeing instead of trying to describe it in words.
How to Attach an Image
- Open the Brainfish Widget, Assist, or Help Center
- Type your question in the input field
- Click the attachment icon or paste an image from your clipboard using Cmd+V (Mac) or Ctrl+V (Windows)
- Attach up to 4 images per question
- Submit — Brainfish uses the image(s) as context when generating an answer
Supported Channels
Available across all three Brainfish channels:
- Widget — embedded on your website or in-product
- Assist — your internal team-facing assistant
- Help Center — your customer-facing self-service portal
Requirements and Limitations
- Image files only — PDFs, documents, and other file types are not supported
- Up to 4 images per question
- Images can be uploaded from your device or pasted from clipboard
- Image editing and annotation are not currently supported
