Brainfish has taken proactive steps to ensure its compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). For enterprise customers with EU data residency requirements, we can host your data within the European Union (EU) through Amazon Web Services (AWS). The GDPR is a comprehensive data protection law that came into effect in May 2018. Its purpose is to protect the personal data of EU citizens and residents by establishing strict guidelines for businesses that handle such information. As an organisation that deals with sensitive data, Brainfish recognises the importance of complying with these regulations to maintain trust and transparency with its customers.
One of the key requirements of the GDPR is ensuring that personal data is stored and processed within the EU or in countries that provide an adequate level of data protection. For qualifying enterprise customers, Brainfish can arrange EU data residency through AWS, which has established data centers throughout the EU that meet the stringent security and compliance standards set by GDPR.
AWS provides robust security measures and extensive documentation to help its customers achieve GDPR compliance. It offers a wide range of services and tools that enable Brainfish to implement necessary safeguards, such as encryption, access controls, and data backup solutions. These measures not only enhance data security but also assist in fulfilling GDPR's requirements for accountability and transparency.
Data Processing Agreement (DPA)
