Help Center
1min read
A Brainfish Help Center is a hosted website that surfaces your knowledge base to customers, with an embedded AI agent at the top of every page. You can run one default help center, or several — branded, segmented, and authenticated independently.
What you get
- A hosted site at
yoursubdomain.brainfi.sh, with optional custom domain support. - Full branding: theme, logo, colors, custom CSS, custom fonts.
- A built-in Help Center Agent that answers questions and cites the underlying articles.
- Region segmentation, so US / EU / AU visitors see region-specific content.
- 301 redirect rules to migrate from another platform without breaking SEO.
- Authenticated help centers for private documentation, gated by JWT.
- Multiple help centers per workspace for different products, audiences, or geographies.

When to use a Help Center vs an embedded widget
| Choose | If you want |
|---|---|
| Help Center | A standalone documentation site at your own URL, indexed by Google, with full branding and a built-in AI agent. |
| Web Widget | The agent inside your product or marketing site, layered on existing UI. |
| Both | Most teams run a public Help Center and embed a widget in-product, sharing the same knowledge. |
